Program Requirements

Required: Resume, personal statement, official transcript, and three letters of recommendation. We offer 3 degrees: 1) MS in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (see https://cbe.rutgers.edu/ms ), 2) PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (see https://cbe.rutgers.edu/phd ), and 3) ME in Pharmaceutical Engineering and Science (see https://cbe.rutgers.edu/me-pharmaceutical-engineering-and-science-0 ). Your personal statement should explain your motivation for graduate study and your interests in further study in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (MS, PhD) or Pharmaceutical Engineering and Science (ME). PhD and research-oriented MS applicants should also discuss areas of research and potential faculty advisors they are interested.
