Program Requirements

Personal statement, resume, two letters of recommendation, and official transcripts required. International students' transcripts must be evaluated by World Education Services (WES).

Non-degree: personal statement, official transcripts, and resume.

Test Requirements

GRE General test is optional. TOEFL is required for international applicants. Rutgers University-Newark will also accept the Duolingo English Test. The Duolingo English Test is an online English language proficiency test that can be taken via a camera-enabled computer. When you receive your results, you can share your scores with Rutgers-Newark. The minimum Duolingo score is 130.

Personal Statement Instructions

Your personal statement should detail your reasons for pursuing the Master of Business and Science degree from Rutgers University; your short-term and long-term career plans; and how your background, experience, interests, and/or values, when combined with a MBS degree, will enable you to pursue these goals successfully.
