Test Requirements

The GRE General test is optional for both Ph.D. and MS applicants. Proof of English Language Proficiency (i.e. TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test) is required if your education was completed in a non-English speaking country.


Personal Statement Instructions

In your personal statement (up to 1,000 words), describe your academic achievements, research experience, leadership skills, commitment to graduate school, examples illustrating your resilience and adaptability during your education, and how have you contributed to or supported intellectual and/or cultural diversity in higher education and science. Please also identify at least three faculty whose research you are interested in for your graduate training.
