Program Requirements

Online Application and application fee, Official Transcripts, Personal Statement and professional Resume

If you have completed education outside of the U.S.:

An official translated evaluation of all transcripts is required to be sent to the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions. International transcript evaluation services can be found by visiting the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) website https://www.naces.org/members. Transcripts must be evaluated and certified for authenticity and U.S. equivalency. Please reference the Graduate Admissions site for more information relating to TOEFL/IELTS requirements and I-20 financial documentation.

If you have completed your education within the U.S, and if you are already on a H1 or F1 U.S. visa, approval from the Rutgers Global department is required to continue or pursue the non-degree graduate certificate program and some elements of the in-person mode of instruction are required. Students must take a minimum of 9 credits per semester or follow requirements for a reduced load when applicable in their final semester of study. This is designed only if you have an approved visa that is transferable to Rutgers University.

Deadlines are flexible as we review applications on a rolling basis. Applicants have a hard stop on the deadline dates listed. All applicants are encouraged to complete their applications earlier than later.
