Program Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. At least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an international institution* that is officially recognized by that country and a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.
  2. Completion of at least TWO (2) undergraduate courses in Psychology with grade(s) of B or better.
  3. Completion of at least ONE (1) undergraduate course in Statistics or Research Method with a grade of B or better.

Additional Information:

  1. For non-native English speakers, a TOEFL score may be required unless the program director grants a waiver based on sufficient evidence of English-language proficiency.
  2. Applications for the PsyM program in Organizational Psychology will begin March 1st and all applications turned in by May 1st will be fully reviewed for admission. Applications received after May 1st will be only considered if there are remaining openings in the program.

Application Materials:

  • A completed application
  • 2 academic letters of recommendation
  • CV/Resume
  • Personal statement (about 1,000 words)
  • Transcripts of all undergraduate and/or graduate course work

* For students with international credentials, a professional credential evaluation by an outside credential evaluation service may be requested

* What you aspire to do when you graduate or how you intend or hope to contribute to the field.
* Research you might have engaged in or have an interest in pursuing (it’s okay not to write about this if you do not know).
