Program Requirements

Personal Statement, Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (Unofficial uploaded copies are acceptable for review, but Official Transcript(s) will be required if admitted), Resume or CV, and Three letters of recommendation.

Test Requirements

GRE (taken within the past five years)

Personal Statement Instructions

Provide a personal statement describing how you came to select the profession of genetic counseling. Describe events and experiences that have prepared you for a career in genetic counseling. This may include (but is not limited to) exposure to the field of genetic counseling, counseling opportunities, and/or lab or research experience. Use this as an opportunity to tell us about yourself in a way that your resume cannot.

Have you observed or worked with a genetic counselor? If yes, please provide name, organization, and dates.

Have you registered with the National Match Service (https://natmatch.com/gcadmissions)? Yes/No
